hey i was wondering if you had a fix for the problem of not being able to dial from my adress book using a 7250 thanks for youre time

  • Aq Lynch says:

You have to hit the talk button and then click options.. then click on Smart dialing then make sure you change the country code to unknown.. Then save your settings and you should be good to go.

Hi, I was wondering if there was any information about coverting a blackberry 7520 to work with mms sms

    thanks

  • admin says:

I had a 7520 before, and I think the same IPD file let me send SMS on it. Give it a try and let me know if it works. i still have my 7520, so if it doesn’t work, I’ll give mine a try again, and do a quick write up on how to get it to work.

Do you have any idea ifthere are any hacks like this out there for Cricket Wireless? I Just bought a Curve 8330 Fully flashed to Cricket, but I cannot get Opera mini to access the internet at all. Please help.

    I have a BB8900 running OS 5.0.411

I have a BIS subscription which only allows me to use blackberry messenger (BBM) and some social-networking apps (like FB, and twitter).

I can still do some browsing with BOLT, however, after setting the operator’s APN in the TCP/IP options. And after restoring some service book thru an .ipd file, I can even browse with the native browser.

However, I cannot get the GMailApps and GoogleMap working. I have a Gmail account which needs to be check once in a while, and googlemap can sometimes become handy when driving into an unfamiliar neighborhood.

Could you give some advice on the problem? What service books do I need to add (or delete)?

    Thank you

  • Justin Jones says:

I just bought myself a fully flashed Cricket Blackberry 8330! Messaging works well but when it comes to mms I cannot retrieve pictures. It leaves me at “retrieving content” and nothing happens! Any clue why? Please help!

You probably either need to access whatever it is using an IP addresse in the URL, or change a setting to use your company’s internal DNS when using the VPN. Although, some browers or settings might still try to do a search or assume a domain on the name if there is no dot in the hostname part of a URL, so you may need to include your company domain on the name.

I’ve often used BlackBerry mobile phones since I could afford one. They’re just extremely reputable and have many wonderful features. However when I discovered the new BlackBerry PlayBook, I became extremely psyched. This certainly challenges the Ipad with considerably more features. It’d work terrific with my BlackBerry bold for work and school. I can not wait to get one early next year.
