New Look
I decided I was over my X-Box being broken so a new look on my blog was necessary. In case you were wondering, “Meus X-Arch infractus est,” when translated from Latin means, “My X-Box is broken.” My blog was based on this theme, but now it’s been non-functioning for 4-5 months, so I’ve decided to move on. I’m going with a simpler look.
I need to tread carefully here or I’ll be in danger of being my wife. She changes the look and theme of her blog on a weekly basis. Not that that’s a bad thing… It suits her well. But IMHO that’s kinda a girl thing. We manly men setup a blog with a basic, bland look to it and leave it for the rest of eternity. We may change it once, but no more. So this is my one theme change, and it will stay this, it must stay this for eternity so that I may prove my manhood to my fellow bloggers.
Now that I’ve got that off my chest…
Our furnace went out Saturday night, and it has been down since. Our landlords got a guy to come and look at it Sunday morning, he said he needed a part and came back Monday, then he said we needed a whole new unit. So they got a second opinion. Another guy came over yesterday, said he needed a part and should be back today or tomorrow. It was rather cold this weekend, but since then the weather’s been nice. The father of one of the kids my wife babysits for works at a farm where they had a lot of trees go down in recent ice storms, so he had a lot of firewood and gave us a bunch. So we’ve been using our fireplace and all has been well.
