Church IT
A few months ago I found a group of Church IT people who blog and communicate with each other. They’ve gotten together once for a Church IT Roundtable, and they recently started having a live discussion at talkshoe.com. I participated in a SkypeCast that they tried once, but it didn’t work out so well. Anyway, if anyone of you geeks out there want to check out the next live discussion it’s this Friday, February 2, at 2:00PM.
First timers wanting to participate need to …
1) Go register a user/pass/pin on www.talkshoe.com
2) Install the talkshoe client (PC or Mac). [PC users may need to get the latest java update from www.java.com]
3) A few minutes before 2pm click this LINK then click the Join icon which should launch the talkshoe client and then call 724-444-7444 and enter the show ID code of 6983
I hope to be there. There’s another Roundtable in April that I’m going to try to go to. It’s about time a group of us Church Geeks got together. Those of you who know me know that’s been a dream of mine for awhile, and it’s what I’ve hoped to someday acheive through Geeks-4-Jesus.
Anyway, I’ll let you know how the discussion went tomorrow.
